Hello! I’m Colleen, the proud owner of Bark & Bath Pet Salon here in Southern Maryland. As a lifelong local with over 16 years of experience in professional pet grooming and certification through IPG, animals have always been an important part of my life. Opening Bark & Bath has been a dream come true, and I’m incredibly grateful to do what I love every day.
At Bark & Bath, my mission is to create a safe, welcoming space for both pets and their owners. We believe in personalized, one-on-one grooming, which is why we don't use bathers or dryers, your selected groomer will be with your pet from start to finish, ensuring both comfort and a strong bond.

Colleen has been local to Southern Maryland all her life! She has been in the professional pet grooming industry for over 16+ years. She has received certifications in Pet Bathing & Brushing, AKC Bichon , AKC SAFE Certified Groomer, Creative Grooming and Pet CPR & First Aid. She is also a certified groomer through IPG! She continues to advance in her education in pet grooming by going to pet expo's and seminars all over! She is very passionate about grooming and this passion is shown in her grooming abilities.
Tori

Victoria has always been an animal advocate and shows pride in the work she does as well as the relationships she makes with her clients and their owners! She has received certifications in Pet Bathing & Brushing, COVID-19 Salon Sanitation, AKC SAFE Certified Groomer, AKC Golden Retriever and is a certified pet groomer through IPG. She is also a Fear Free Certified Groomer. She started her career in the pet grooming industry 8 years ago and has continued to grow in her skills and knowledge of pet grooming and safety.
Kaelyn

Kaelyn, or the Doodle Queen as we call her, has always been an avid animal lover and advocate! With over 12 years of experience in the Pet Industry, she has familiarized herself with an array of different breeds. Kaelyn actively competes in AKC Conformation Shows nationwide with her Cane Corso’s. Kaelyn prides herself in her ability to give the perfect pawdicure! Kaelyn is certified in Brachycephalic Breed Safety. She is also knowledgeable in Hand Stripping techniques which is a rare skill to find in the grooming industry.
Aly

Aly, a Georgia peach, has always loved being around animals of all kinds! Previously working in the veterinary field, she has joined us in the grooming industry where she prides herself in thorough desheds as well as helping all the pups she meets feel as comfortable as possible in the salon. Aly’s favorite breeds to work with are Huskies and Great Pyrenees. “The more fur, the better!” is her motto both at work and at home. She is also our go to lady for any feline grooming!
Samantha

Dogs have always been a big part of Samanthas life. She started her grooming career in 2012. After 2 months of being a bather she fell in love and knew she wanted her career to be a pet groomer. She loves all the different haircuts she gets to do daily, but nothing is more satisfying than a good deshed treatment to her. Seeing her customer and also the dog’s reaction after blowing out their undercoat is worth all the hair you consume during the process. Nothing makes her day better than knowing she is going to work and seeing dogs all day! Samantha owns a Tibetan Mastiff and a Pitbull. Her favorite breed is a Rottweiler as she grew up with multiple throughout her childhood.
Selena

Ever since Selena was a little girl she has loved animals. She started her career with animals at the young age of 17! She continues to grow in her career by attending grooming educational classes and seminars. "I want all dogs to feel welcomed and comfortable in the salon." She strives to not only make each pet look beautiful but to meet their individualized needs as well. Selena's favorite breed to work with is Pitbulls, as she also owns and cares for this breed herself.
Taylor

Taylor found her passion for grooming in 2020 after being around, working with, caring for, and loving all types of animals her entire life. She is so happy to have found her home at Bark and Bath to continue her grooming career. She is AKC SAFE Certified and Pet CPR Certified. German Shepards and Boxers hold a special place in her heart, since she has 3 of her own at home. She also loves to work with rescues and dogs that are unsure of the grooming process, as she has a calming personality to soothe and comfort them while they are groomed.

With nearly 30 years of professional grooming experience, Lesley is a dedicated and compassionate pet groomer who has built her career around a deep love for animals. As a Fear Free Certified groomer, she prioritizes your pet's comfort and emotional well-being, making each grooming session a calm and positive experience.Known for her gentle approach and expert touch, Lesley has earned the trust of both pets and their owners alike. When she's not in the salon, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her beloved Cane Corso, who shares her love of sun and sand.

Lindsay

Lindsay has truly found her passion as a dog groomer. Growing up, she was enrolled in the St. Mary’s County 4-H program where she started learning and working with animals. She is an AKC Safe groomer and has been certified in Canine and Feline CPR and First-Aid, Salon Sanitation, and Puppy Handling. Her favorite breed to groom is Doodles and she loves paying close attention to detail with hand scissoring techniques. Lindsay makes it a priority to continuously learn more about dog grooming with attending certificate courses and going to dog grooming expos annually.
Aidan

A Maryland native, Aidan currently lives in Anne Arundel County after spending nearly 15 years in Calvert County. His journey has been anything but ordinary from early school years spent in London while his family followed his father’s work overseas, to graduating from Northern High School in 2020 without a set plan, unsure of what direction life would take.
That direction quickly came into focus after discovering a passion for dog grooming. Starting out in a corporate grooming facility, Aidan got a first taste of the industry and instantly knew he had found something special. Since then, he’s immersed himself in continued education attending grooming expos, dog shows, and industry seminars to sharpen his skills and fuel his creativity.
He currently holds certifications in Difficult Dog Handling, Geriatric Grooming, and Pet First Aid & CPR. Always eager to grow and learn, he brings dedication, compassion, and artistry to every grooming session.
Now proud to be part of a team that shares his passion, Aidan looks forward to helping pets (and their people) feel their best one groom at a time.

Never short on patience and always looking for the most comfortable experience for your fur-friend; Amanda prides herself on her ability to coax nervous pups through the grooming process. She loves working with you to find the perfect cross between style and maintenance. She has the most fun dying dogs funky colors and making them fluffy without making them unmanageable.
With 7 years of grooming experience, and 10 years total in the pet care industry, she has developÄ—d a skill set that brings together quality grooms without sacrificing their comfort. Amanda’s favorite part is seeing the dog’s personality really shine through in their fresh haircut. Every dog deserves to look and feel their best without extra stress!
Mady

Mady grew up in Southern Maryland and has always had a love for animals. Her passion for working with dogs began when she started as a kennel technician and she hasn’t looked back since. With three years of grooming experience, Mady is eager to continue expanding her knowledge, especially in areas of coat and skin care. She deeply values the relationships she’s built with her clients and the open communication they share. Mady has a special soft spot for doodles and big, fluffy dogs, and she absolutely loves working with creative color !

Lynda joined our team after grooming for a mobile grooming service, where she built a strong reputation among local pet owners. Her passion for grooming shines through in every session, and she truly enjoys the transformation that a good groom brings to both pets and their people. Lynda is known for her patience and gentle touch, quickly earning the trust of even the most timid pets and their loyal owners. We're lucky to have her caring presence on our team!
Mint

Mint, originally from Thailand, has been in the U.S. for over 10 years and truly found her calling in dog grooming. An internationally trained groomer who is fluent in Thai, combining skill and cultural care in every service. Pictured is Papi her Bichon , who you may see in our lobby lounging in his stroller . She’s passionate about making every pup feel safe, relaxed, and maybe even a little spoiled. Mint takes her time building trust, delivering adorable haircuts, and sending dogs home smelling amazing. Her favorite part? Watching pups leave happy, confident, and ready to show off their fresh new look.
MaKenzie

I am a dedicated pet groomer with over a year and a half of hands-on experience working with all breeds of dogs and cats. I began my career as a bather at a busy boarding kennel, where my passion and work ethic led me to grow into a full grooming role. Having grown up surrounded by a wide variety of breeds including domestic shorthaired cats, Dutch Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, Bloodhounds, Belgian Malinois, Australian Cattle Dogs, and German Shepherds. I bring a deep understanding of different temperaments, coat types, and care needs. I take pride in providing a safe, gentle, and positive grooming experience for every pet, ensuring they not only look their best but feel comfortable and cared for throughout the process. My favorite breeds to work with are all types of spaniels, and Labrador Retrievers.
